I work with individuals and couples who are at any stage of the separation or divorce continuum.

If you or your spouse is considering separating or divorcing, therapy can help you decide whether to try and restore your marriage to health, move toward separation or take a time out and decide later.

I will help you gain clarity and confidence about a direction, based on a deeper understanding of yourself, your relationship and the possibilities for the future.

If a decision in made to separate, I assist couples in navigating an amicable and respectful separation both during and after the split.

In therapy, I work with couples to clarify, communicate and establish parameters for the relationship you are moving into- a relationship after the marriage. This process requires two people to disengage, not only their belongings but their identities. The two partners redefine themselves, both in their own eyes and in the eyes of others.

I also work with indivduals in the divorce process. There is often a wide spectrum of intense emotions and challenges that arise during and after the decision to end a long-term partnership. Taking care of yourself is of utmost importance at this transition time.

As a therapist, I help you navigate through the stages of loss and grief as well as act as a catalyst for self renewal and transformation.

I help clients explore and define issues including:

  • Relationship discernment: Explore and determine whether or not to separate.

  • Work toward respectful and cooperative dissolution of relationship.

  • Co Parenting

  • Living arrangements

  • Post divorce life: identify as a single person, dating, sexuality
